National Poetry Day - 5 October 2006 -
This October will be the Fourteenth anniversary of National Poetry Day,
the annual celebration of poetry around the country.
To mark this anniversary, and to tie in with this year’s theme of ‘Britain’,
a search is launched today to find the Poetry Landmarks of Britain.

The Tutor Poet is Vernon Hale, who among other things, would like to explore different forms of music on poetic imagery, using examples of a number of Poets including CK Williams and Jeremy Hooker
